In 1979 the Iranian Revolution erupted and the U.S. Embassy and its personnel were seized by militants. Six diplomatic personnel managed to escape and found refuge courtesy of Canadian Ambassador Ken Taylor and his staff. As their situation became more dire, the Canadian government proposed a daring operation to smuggle the fugitives out of the country. Through their own words the six refugees discuss the events of that crisis and how Canada found itself in the midst of international intrigue that defied all conventional understanding.
