Nazi Portrayals

Did anyone notice how cruel the Nazis were in this version? They stormed into the von Trapp house and threatened the family; forcing them to perform.Rolf was extremely cruel towards Liesl when delivering the telegram from Berlin. In the film, the Nazis were less cruel and acted like buffoons! Max Detweiler was seized by the Gestapo after the family escaped and was arrested. In the film, Max was never arrested. In this version, the Nazis were more cruel and was more real; they were too gentle in the film.
