Only 3 episodes? C'mon!

What is it with cable channels like Science, Discovery and Animal Planet providing really good paranormal programming, then lapsing on episodes and even airing.

It is frustrating to say the very least.

TUF is intriguing, interesting and historical with a paranormal twist; just the kind of documentary I tend to be fascinated by. And who could go wrong with the soothing voice of Bruce Greenwood narrating.

A few years ago, Animal Planet produced THE HAUNTED which was very fascinating with high production values. I really enjoyed that show.

But as with all these programs, one week they are around, the next - "poof", like magic they disappear with no explanation.

With the saturation of mainstream paranormal programming on the scene today, I can't believe that these programs are not popular.

So, what gives?

Most of these stories are old. Rehashed a million times. I came here because they showed a right-hand drive car in West Virginia. Now it's obvious why. The production company is UK based. I don't really care for the show because it's too biased. Most of these occurrences have sound, scientific explanations but this show leans more to the nut-job side. I guess it's more entertaining for the masses if they only show the "unexplained" portion. I'm more analytical and thrive on the scientific aspect of things. As I watch the show, some things just pop out at you. Mothman. As you listen too their stories and how people interact with the Mothman, it's pretty obvious they're probably witnessing a Golden Eagle. If you've ever seen a bird with a 7-9ft wingspan(most cars aren't 6ft wide) it pretty awe-inspiring. They even said that one person got out of the car and started throwing rocks at it. lol. If a human sized, feathered creature with glowing red eyes jumped on the hood of my car, the last thing I'm going to do is get out and start throwing things at it. The Peruvian UFO crash site that burned the hillside was laughable. There were no English speaking representatives in the whole episode. We're left to listen to a bunch of backwoods, uneducated hicks stumbling around a hillside. "We couldn't find any wreckage from an aircraft. Or a weather balloon. No evidence of a meteorite". Well duh. The white powdery stuff turned out to be crushed, pulverized rock. Hmm? What happens to rock when exposed to extreme heat? It explodes. My conclusion, even though I've never been there? It was a lightning strike. They heard booms in the distance and the hillside caught on fire. Then came the Morgellons Disease portion of the show. Even before I looked it up at the CDC site, I came to the conclusion that the patients are delusional and the fibers are just that, fibers from their clothing.

I did some research, and agree it's a sham and extremely biased.

Although, you raise some very interesting points that I had failed to notice (my bad), you are incorrect on your conclusion of Morgellons Disease.

These people are truly suffering, and it is not from the fiber in their clothing. Whatever the fibers are they are literally growing out of their bodies.

I've been studying this disease/disorder for over six years and the evidence is overwhelming that it is a genuine phenomenon and moreover a huge medical mystery.

What is worse, is that there is little to no help available to the victims of Morgellons.

I am a doctor and this has been discussed between certain circles, the fibers are those from clothes and the "Sufferers" have neurological disorders which cause chronic scratching. Most of the scratching happens during the night but when it happens during the day it often goes unnoticed do to the disorders.

As we grow we learn, i have learned that if you don't like me grow up or ignore me.
