Arabic language

Although the film is mostly in English, a small amount of dialog is in Arabic.

- Do the actors who speak Arabic in the film know the language, or did they learn their lines phonetically?

- Does writer-director Sean Mullin speak Arabic, or did he have someone translate the Arabic dialog for him? If so, was it translated by the actors, a separate translator, or someone else?

The female lead certainly seems fluent based on the trailer. Two members of the cast have Arab names so I would assume they are native speakers.

Obviously Martin Starr didn't learn Arabic for the film although (again based on the trailer) his character is supposed to speak (some) Arabic.

I don't know how the script was written but I think it's likely that the two Arab cast members contributed a lot in that department. Why? Because the Arabic in the trailer is in dialect and I think it's pretty unlikely that Mullen wrote dialogue in an Arabic dialect (of course it's not impossible, I'm just speculating).
