Very odd that the American TV airing begins with episode 2
Anyone know why Sundance isn't airing the very first episode of this series?
I was wondering the same thing. Just a 2 minute recap of the first episode or "first day" and then the premiere of the second episode. So strange. What happened?
shareI deleted the series from my DVR schedule. Hopefully the ENTIRE series will eventually appear on Netflix. I refuse to watch any series with a missing first episode.
Yeah, you're not alone. The commercials made me look forward to the show, and seeing that they skipped over the pilot was really disappointing. I expect better from Sundance.
shareJeez, now I understand why it seemed like the "premiere" episode that was shown on Sundance was so goddamn hard-to-follow the plot! Watching it, I felt like I had just walked into the middle of the movie and missed all the preliminary expository set-ups...and that's because I had.
Well, if that's how Sundance is gonna play this then, screw them--I'll wait for the show to be released on disc and check it out then. It's bad enough that DirecTV doesn't even broadcast the Sundance Channel in HD anyway; I'm not putting up with missing episodes, too.
