Unlike the CGI Captain Scarlet (which was very good) I hope they're allowed to use the original Barry Gray music.
Ben Foster is composing for the series. There could be a version of the main theme, but otherwise it's going to be completely new music.

Well I see he's a BAFTA award winner but I doubt he'll be able to match Barry Gray although to the younger generation who'll be watching it - it probably won't matter.
They should use the original theme. They will probably change enough other things to annoy us.

Well I can't see a character called Jeff Tracey but there is one called Colonel Casey hmmm.
shareJeff had a friend named Colonel Tim Casey in the season one episode "Edge of Impact" who came to visit and Tin -Tin had to keep him busy while the boys had to carry out a rescue. It could be a coincidence.

This 'version' is played by a female actress - perhaps it's Tim Casey's sister.
They better use at least some of the original music. it won't be the same otherwise
shareThat's how I feel - there are some good modern composers around but a lot of soundtrack music sounds bland to me.
Barry used unusual chords and instruments to make his music distinctive.
I loved the old mucic from thunderbirds but then I also love d the classic captain scarlet music but prfered the ncs music
