Eff. Ay. Bee

After being a huge fab of the original show (having most recorded on vhs) I must say I bloody loved this.

huge fab ? huge fan right ?

i gotta say it's not bad it's got some great stuff and the potential for awesome remake is there BUT:

The voice acting isn't working...on a few levels.

1: badly edited, some characters dialogue has a hint of over lap, of the next to speak.
2: the volume level is poorly mixed in with the music/score and they lack 'atmosphere/ emotion'
3: most of the characters voices pale in comparison to the orginals (except parker) some are ok some like lady p and brains are not a good fit.

the cgi needs a bit of work on the characters movement to be less stiff and bordering on puppet style...

the cgi also could do with a bit more work on blending it on to the 'real' minature sets.. sometimes the models seem to 'jump/bounce' around..

the music is also abit off..

but it's watch able and has some awesome moments of nostalgia and homages.

Excuse me ? Isn't that the reason why they did not use MARIONETTES this time ???

F.A.B. indeed.

I enjoyed the way it was respectful of the original, stilted character models, repeated launch sequences etc, and introduced modern touches. This adult enjoyed the re working of a show much cherished during my childhood.

My ten year old son (used to iPads, Lego movie, Xbox one) loved it. He was out of his seat cheering on the exploits of International Rescue.
