Its so retro. I love the direction they took by not modernizing it too much. Still that 60s vibe throughout, and even the animation is a wink to puppeteering. If you don't get that, you probably won't.
shareNo man, the show is not good. All over the internet fans are saying how bad it was/is. from the original 60's show and the 90's repeat viewing where it gained a new audience of fans 20 plus years ago. Thunderbirds has had a loyal following of fans who get it o.k.
This show however is very questionable from the very get-go. Yes i gave it a chance but it didn't impress me nor tons of others out there.

That could also be called too much fan service! rather than focusing on telling a good story with the right type of animation quality and style behind it all. Ask yourself why is the; 2005 Captain Scarlet series which is 10 years older in 2015 far better with its animation quality and visual appeal than this new Thunderbirds series in 2015 by your logic?!
I'd like to give this show a chance i really would but i don't see it truly being a success to be honest with you! Its sorely lacking in so many areas unfortunately.
