diamond, diamond, who's got the diamond

Seldom knew who had it at any time or which of the many copies of the diamond was the real one and which side most of the players were on and which way and when they would turn to the other side. Way too many twists and turns to make any reality sense(to an American anyway). Started out great though. Looked at first like it was going to be one of the best caper films ever. But, too many excursions into "what if we do tbis?" for my taste.
