I wanted to record it tonight so that I could skip through all the commercials. I turn it on and find out that my DVR didn't record it, so I go to the Channel and find that it is "Temporarily off the air". Did anyone else have the problem? Or was it just with Cox around the Wichita area? I recorded the 10 o'clock rerun on the regular channel but I miss the first 3 mins. Did I miss anything important?
shareThe opening scene had Houdini jumping, locked and loaded, into the ice-covered Mississippi River in St Louis. It then relates his childhood and eventually returns to the river scene. You did not miss anything special if you missed only the first three minutes. Overall, I liked it and thought Brody was good in the lead. I would like to see Houdini's life get a big-screen treatment, although I am a longtime fan of the Tony Curtis movie.
