Educating Matt

Thanks to my sister's OCCMD(Obsessive-Compulsive Christmas Movie Disorder) I've seen more of this movie than I'd like to admit, but it did raise a question: at one point Matt mentions he attained a Master's of Finance, but a career in finance wasn't for him. To which I wonder, "It took until you finished your Master's for you to figure out you didn't like finance"?

I get more then enough of that guy, then I want....and then some...

anyway....I didn't hear that part..

but yeah, you're right....wonder why it took him what's the course, like 4 years to realise that he didn't like it, after all..

I agree but I figured he was just on that career path because it made money but when he set the kitchen table on fire and had to build a new one he realized that he liked making furniture and was good at itand that's when he switched career paths.

I agree with what Rena313 said.

Note that I know more than one person that went through med school and their internship and got hired as a full blown MD before realizing they didn't really like medicine.

More than one lawyer has stopped practing as well - look at Stephan Pastis, cartoonist as one example.
