So I'm supposed to believe

That this woman falls in love with a man in days and leaves her fiance which she has spent many months, possibly years together?

If "believability" is paramount in your viewing needs, a Hallmark movie probably isn't the right type of film to watch.

Just enjoy them for what they are, entertaining fluff.....

I do.

And as for this one, it was pretty funny in parts and as also I love Alicia Witt so that's a bonus.

It's messed up to the fiancé. What a hoe!!

reply

There's nothing hoe about it. It's not like she was sleeping around.

You want her to marry someone she didn't love and who didn't love her?

Inside every cynical person is a disappointed idealist.

"Horror" The fiancé was a total jerk, who used her to try to further his career.

Frankly she treated him rather well once she realised how their relationship was a complete sham.

Actually, you can tell by her reaction when he proposes that she is at most lukewarm about it and it seems to catch her by surprise, which I think is because it's happening really early in their relationship. He is not the right guy for her. She and Will who she falls for are both interested in finding their soul mate and settling down, so it's not surprising that when they both get along so well that there is a spark. The only reason the fiance proposes to her is because he wants to sway her to sell her dad's shop. She is most definitely not treating the fiance badly - she even leaves the guy she really likes and goes and tries to make a go of it at his family home. The only one in the show with bad ethics is the fiance.

It's a nice thing that the right ones end up together.

Matt is the name of the guy she fell for. Will was the fiance. The mix up happens when Matt bumps into her at the airport and spills coffee on her. She winds up telling him her fiance's name and Matt thinks she is talking about his brother, who has a similar name (his brother is Bill Mitchum and her fiance is Will Mitchum).

That's the basic setup for a lot, if not most, Hallmark movies.

Woman, about to get married, meets new guy who is her soulmate, and dumps guy she has been with for years in favor of the guy she's known a week or two.

What's so hard to believe about that? He makes her laugh.. 😏
