Just a heads up that this is adapted from a stage play where the majority of the film plays out in one room between two people. This isn't a grandiose war film and is more of a character study or performance piece.

I have seen plenty of "grandiose war films" that were much less exciting than this very fine film.
shareExactly as you said, this movie, taking place to a large extent inside one hotel room, has more drama and excitement than many other movies involving lots of literal action and huge, impressive vistas of scenery and/or crowds. And the scenes of Paris at the end made me cry.
Just make a movie that makes me care, one way or another. I'm open.
