am only about 30 minutes into the movie but it reminds me a lot so far of John Water's Serial Mom in some way
shareI always feels like John Waters movies have an undercurrent of dirtiness. Miss Meadows seemed sweet with a sprinkling of crazy. Even though she was totally in the wrong by killing people without a trial, the audience still roots for her to get away with her vigilantism.
No two persons ever watch the same movie.share
Although I get the Serial Mom feeling, oddly enough, this felt kind of like a female version of Batman for me, if Batman killed the bad guys and got knocked up by Commissioner Gordon.

shareThat's what I was thinking from the description. But in the end quite different as Serial Mom killed people for reasons that were quite trivial. Miss Meadows doesn't.
