WTF *beep* why do they always cancel the best shows... it's the only good MTV show and they cancel it? geez they are idiots... It's sad that we won't have a proper ending, I know that Amy and Karma would have end up together but we'll never get that. unfortunaly it's not the type of show that can get pick up by a another network or something so there's no chance at all...
It's the stupid writers fault for dragging it out with terrible story lines no one careds about and not getting Karmy together. IDIOTS! Can't believe I wasted my time with no Karmy pay off, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
I legit made a post about a month ago where I said I had a feeling they would get cancelled. Wasn't surprised to hear it did, but I was very upset. Still am. Probably will be for a long time lol. I'm still not over The Secret Circle's cancellation and that was like 5 years ago.
I watched The Secret Circle, and I enjoyed it, but it was no where close as good as Faking It was!
After watching the finale, I have to officially declare MTV a total moron for canceling the show. Faking It is so good, it is going to continue to be watched and gain followers for years to come.
Mtv has made plenty of moronic decisions throughout the years, ie: Teen Mom, 16 & Pregnant, but canceling this show will go down as the dumbest decision ever. Not only did the show represent MTV's whole diversity and acceptance push, but it was probably one of their best shows to date. Even better than Awkward in its hey-day a few seasons back. It definitely had its moments where You were just kind of like ....lol, but it had a great message and the characters were the best. Lauren Cooper is seriously going down in my top 10 best TV characters, and I will definitely look forward to what Bailey Deyoung does next.
I loved all the characters on the show! I wasn't really watching for "Karmy" --Karma just seems way too straight to me! I never thought of them as more than friends! I just loved all the characters for different reasons! I'm sad it was cancelled--there's so many more stories this show can tell! Hopefully it gets picked up somewhere else! it deserves it!

You cannot blame MTV if not enough people tuned in to watch the show. I'm sure they'd have renewed the show for two more decades if it had had the viewership. MTV is a business, not a charity for your sake. You can rather blame the writers for not writing good enough episodes to attract more people to watch the show.

This however does not account for the fact that MTV gave up on the show a while ago. They stopped promoting the show at all, and even aired the Season 3 premiere during spring break when the primary demographic would generally not be watching TV. The drop in viewership is more likely attributed to these factors than due to purely bad writing.
Yes Viacom is a business but they are HUGE and contrary to popular opinion they do not make decisions based on what shows are getting the best ratings.
Wait? Was the most recent episode the last one? I knew it was unfortunately cancelled but I thought it was just going on a break and then coming back with some more episodes before it ended!
I was sad to hear it was cancelled but the one thing that made me feel slightly better was the thought we had a good few more episodes left. I'm definitely going to miss this show. I think I need to add a new show to my DVD collection :)
