shareKoteas would be an interesting choice. I can see the physical resemblance. However I'd probably go with a native Italian actor (although assuming this will be in English), because Pasolini would probably want that. Pasolini would probably want some lecturer they just pull off the street. Or he'd want a subversive character actor like Willem Dafoe (he's the only one listed thus far; I really don't know who he's playing--but happy he's there nonetheless!)

I saw the movie last night at the NYFF and Willem Dafoe did an excellent job. The movie was poetic and stirring - I highly recommend it.
