U.S. theatrical/DVD release?

Anyone have info on this? I ordered the Italian Blu-ray, but it won't play on my usually reliable region free BD player. The regular DVD only has an Italian language track, with no English subtitles.

As a huge fan of both PPP and Abel Ferrara, I'm really anxious to see this.

no info at all, came here to check, some of us stoopid Americans want to see films that challenge and excite us, not just Hollywood junk that is aimed at 13 year-old boys. I have been a big fan Abel Ferrara since his mainstream days (mid 80's) and will watch anything he does because he seems to be a true film-making rebel. I only know Pasolini from Salo, so I would enjoy seeing another side of the man and his work.. I viewed the trailer on Youtube about 20 times already.... very excited to see this!!

Salo is his infamous work, but you should look up his beautiful work. The trilogy of Life is terrific and available through Criterion. My other go to film by Pasolini is Teorema. Though, that is very hard to find. Takeshi Miike re-made it as Visitor Q

TEOREMA has been released in a beautiful Blu-ray edition by BFI in the UK. If you have a region free player, you can order from Amazon.com/uk. Most of PPP's other films are available on BD in the UK, as well.
