I had hopes for this series. At this point it just seems like this reboot was simply made to sell merchandise. I think it's extremely lazy that there is no new transformation after receiving her new compact. It was great having a new one each season.
shareAgreed! I loved her second transformation in the R arc, with her wings opening up and the feathers. Always loved the animation. It doesn't even show The Crystal Star compact opening to reveal the Silver Crystal! LAME! :(

I never said the series itself was lame, I said the lack of a transformation for her second compact was lame.
I've actually been enjoying the R arc so far, better character development and the episodes don't feel quite as rushed.
And by the way, zaphod08, is it just me or do you come off as a bit of a bitch who thinks your opinion is better than anyone else's? Every post I read from you, you're constantly putting down anyone else's opinions on the new anime.
If I didn't like the transformation, I didn't like it. If other people prefer the original anime, then they prefer it and are allowed to speak their opinions.

I respect reasonable opinions, but I take umbrage when someone refers to the show as lame. I also take issue with people who complain the new show isn't as good as the original anime because they grew up on the old show and this isn't it. I love the original, but this isn't it.

No that is not all that it takes. The lack of ANY filler, it feels like the series is on fast forward. Yes, the original had too much filler, but there needs to be some. The animation and proportions are atrocious. When I do see scenes from the original, the characters almost look fat to me now.
