So in this one I notice he doesn't use his rose, he actually has powers and he doesn't call her meatball head. I'm actually super bummed about him not calling her that. I always thought it was the cutest thing. lol anyways.. those little changes are the things I loved about him.
shareThe whole "meatball head" thing was American, in the Japanese version of the original anime/here he calls her "Odango atama/bun head".
It is cool Mamoru has powers here, but to me...he seems too perfect as a character, he never does anything bad to Usagi after his identity is revealed, and he doesn't really do all that much in the third arc.
I've heard he's treated better in the fourth arc.
