Sailormoon crystal Season 3 has just begun with its Infinity Arc.
The voice actor who voiced Uranus is clearly Male. Even in the sub it clearly shows "He".
But "He" is actually a sailor scout and clearly have a gf, Neptune.
So... I'm confused. Male by day, Female by night? (or in this case, transformation).
So... Uranus is 1/2 bisexual / 1/2 male / 1/2 female..? Im confused

Oh did they clarify that in the manga? I haven't finished the arc yet. I just thought Uranus was like the sailor stars and reborn male but when he transformed became female.

Actually by the 90s I'm pretty sure that term was already coined, but whether or not it was it's a term used to describe an identity that's existed since the beginning of time. Transgender people have always existed regardless of what they and others like to call themselves.
Due to the fact that Haruka's gender identity is kept mostly vague I think people can interpret it however they'd like. On top of that I've seen nothing to confirm that Crystal is even set in the 90s.
EDIT: Recently I finished reading Vol 7 of the manga and here is what Neptune says about Uranus, "Uranus... is both male and female. She is a guardian who possesses the strengths of both genders."
So seeing that I don't think it's going to far at all to say that she's genderfluid and/or Bigender.
I always saw Uranus as androgynous, but female. Maybe cause in the manga she still seemed feminine, and when she's in her sailor senshi uniform she just looks like a more "boyish" girl.
However, nowadays i think it would be fine to think of her as genderfluid / bigender.
She is Female like the other Sailor Scouts. The author stated that back in 1998.

Uranus is actually female, she has qualities of males like being strong like them.
Her voice actress, Junko Minagawa, is a woman too, she just has a lovely masculine voice.
