Female characters - lack of

This show seems pretty male biased to me. I won't go as far as saying sexist.... but I'm thinking it. The only female dog has the best job, but that's little consolation. She's named last in the theme song. They added another token female (Everest) but she's featured like twice a season so she's kind of irrelevant. The female mayor is a bumbling doofus (still funny but sheesh), the other female character is a crazy cat girl, majority of guest characters are male. I think it's ridiculous that they would choose to make 5 pups and the team leader male and only have one female. Really telling, that. My little son loves the show so much, I just wish it was more gender equal.

Gross, Canada. ?

You realize this is a show targeted for boys, right? That's why it has mainly boy characters. That's like me going to the Sofia the First board and complaining that James is the only boy character shown a decent amount of times.
Or me complaining that pretty much any other show is targeted toward girls. It isn't sexist, or setting out to offend anyone. It's just targeted toward boys. Be careful though...Terminator is targeted toward men also. It's not sexist. That's how literally everything in this world works.

Yeah, but some people probably consider Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles feminist.

Cassandra? Also, the mer-pups returned.

Well, the new pup from the upcoming season 4 is a girl, but she's also the villain; however, with the trend of one new team member every season since season 2, she's gonna change her ways somehow and become an official member - I'm calling it now.
