At least 3 episodes where the love Chase has for Skye is beyond obvious.

Which season will they get together?!

Just kidding, but this show does have a lot of hidden things in it, which is a nice touch.

"Pups Save An Eagle" makes 4 by my count, but even though there are 2 wikias devoted to shipping (The first one was abandoned due to harassment from anti-pairing haters and the second one's basically defunct, though.), your comment does make me wonder why the series focuses on them exclusively.

There's at least one episode where Rubble shows interest in Skye, as well. It's cute, because it's typical behavior you'd see in kids, but I think any romantic storylines would mess up the show.

Agreed. IIRC, Marshall also showed interested in Skye. 

Yeah, there's a slight tension of longing between Chase and Skye, written into the narrative. A little like I remember from school.
