The cat was the most charismatic actor in the film

I gave it five stars, two because the segue into the opening credits made me laugh and three for the cat's contributions to fillum.

Partway through, I thought this was going in a much different direction and where it went was a infinitely more dull than muh muh muh...head movies.

* spoilers for something that didn't happen but would have been an improvement *

Figured Kristin Wiig would end up being sexually assaulted by the homeless lunatic and then wouldn't know which of the two black guys had impregnated her, and hilarity would ensue. Or not. Turned out to be not, as it happens.

There you go, as you can see I'm available to tweak any of your indie slice-of-life films into Oscar nods. Feel free to send me your NY brownstone navel gazers, Midwest misbehaving elderly parent screenplays, or West Coast unfulfilled promise dramas and I'll tart them up. Put you on the straight and narrow. Big things await...

I liked the film very much - but your subject line was awesome and made me laugh out loud. Thanks!

I, too, wondered if Bishop wouldn't somehow play a part in the baby. Maybe not even as an assault? Wiig's character was portrayed as so crazed to have a baby and at times so upset with the two gay guys I wondered if she wouldn't get pregnant with Bishop and then tell Mo she used his "test" stuff to get pregnant.

The film took a much different turn. Not sure how I felt about it. I hope someone was on set looking after that cat. There is a difference between nudging a cat off of you and throwing it out of frame!
