So false, so terrible.

Roughly the first hour and 18 minutes were okay, a little boring, but some nice performances, characters and moments. The last 22 minutes were dumb. They should have done more rewrites. It was contrived. We knew something was going to happen with the crazy bum, but ultimately it was mis-written and mis-directed. It was cringe-worthy in how bad it was handled. For them to freak out like they did and "finish the job" was ridiculous. It was clearly self-defense, so there was no need to do what they did, or handle the scene in the way that they did. Nice try, it's hard to get movies made these days, but this type of production is the exact reason people won't re-invest, or invest in films, because they are dumb...they don't have any rewatchability, and they'll never make their money back. The actors did a great job, but the directing/writing was amateur at best. Next.
