Last Tinkerbell movie???

I have heard that Disney cancelled the 7th any 8th Tinkerbell movies because the merchandise wasn't selling as strongly as they wanted, this is very sad to hear. But is there any hopes that Disney will reconsider and continue the Tinkerbell franchise?
