Music was the best part

Reminded me of the 90s. Had a Buffy the vampire slayer vibe. I loved it

I enjoyed the music too; although, it didn't honestly fit in the theme of 19th c. America! LOL

I liked it, though, but considering the severity of the issues portrayed in this movie, then I think the music took away the seriousness of it.

Is it available on CD?

It would be cool to have a soundtrack released because I DID like the music also.

It was good. Just inappropriate for this true movie.

And if it had actually been set in the '90s it might have worked. It didn't.

Agreed; the music ruined it, imo. Whomever decided that '90s-style Hasil Adkins riff-off music added something to a period film needs a boot to the head. Dumbest soundtrack decision ever.

I loved it too! The film was a interesting plot lifted from history.

It wasn't a history retelling.

The chic wardrobing and the modern music lent a air of modernity that would have been real to these fictional characters. Using time relative music would have detracted from the feel of the 'cutting edge' "Borden daughters of Fall River." So for a storyline I loved 'how everything looked "new", felt new' stylizing the producers took with this film.

I loved the music and I thought it fitted the movie perfectly.

It gave the movie a strange upbeat feel...sort of like Matthew Bright's 'Bundy'.
