No Blood?

How long was the time frame between Andrew's murder and Lizzie screaming about finding him?

I can understand that if she murdered them naked, she just needed to wash off before putting her dress back on, but they have these elaborate shots of her hair flying wildly about her as the axe is swinging and blood is slinging. She gets blood all over her face, yet there's no blood in her hair? Ridiculous. Plus, her hair isn't wet when she finds her father, so she clearly didn't go wash it unless there's been a significant amount of time for it to dry so perfectly.

Having long, thick hair similar to this portrayal of Lizzie's, it's just something that stood out and bugged me because I know hair like that is a pain to wash and an even bigger pain to dry because it takes forever.

Ok, not to stand up for this film too much, but could she have wiped the blood off her hair with a dry towel, then combed it enough to where the blood would be inconspicuous? Of course then you'd have a bloody towel, but perhaps that could have been buried in some small corner of the farm?
