Official MTV statement on season 2

Can't say that I'm surprised...

I'd much rather watch Jenelle and her antics anyway!

Can't say I'm sad. Alex thinks they weren't big enough of a "trainwreck" like the girls from TM1/TM2. Honestly, the girls were a bunch of babies and I had no sympathy for either one. Alex was a mess. Brianna AND her family were almost unbearable to watch! Mackenzie is sweet but still such a child at heart and Katie was a pain in the ass. These girls didn't have what the girls from TM1/TM2 had. This series didn't show any of their struggles with children, only their relationships with the father of their child! Boo! That's no fun.

I was extremely happy to see this. I genuinly was interested in lives of girls on season 1 and 2, either because I was pulling for them or because I was enjoying the train wreck. I've never been anything but annoyed by the Teen Mom 3 girls. Entitled little brats, that at times tried to say the right things and sound like they had it together, only to prove otherwise. Obscurity is where this whole grew belongs and hope the good lord the Briana takes the street-walking, red shoe tossin, pysco overprotective, man hater, with her.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I thought 3 was a lot more interesting than 2. Then again, it probably would have gotten worse as it continued...same contrived storylines, same frustrations with cast members, etc.
