'Teen Mom 3' will not have a second season

This trainwreck has thankfully been canceled. According to posts on TWOP, the four girls are talking about it on Twitter and retweeting messages from fans. Kail also confirmed that this upcoming season of "Teen Mom 2" will be the last of that particular series as well. So it looks like MTV is done with the Teen Moms for now (if only they quit with "16 and Pregnant" while they're at it).

Seriously? The entire point of the OP's post was that TM3 got canceled. It won't be brought back.

I was assuming the other poster got overly-excited and meant to ask when "Teen Mom 2" is coming out (since there's going to be a fifth season and everything). I have no idea. I just know that this crap is done for good, so much so that they had to uncancel "Teen Mom 2" for another season.

Oh, okay. I was so baffled as to why they would ask that right after you said it was canceled, but it would definitely make more sense that they meant to say TM2. My bad. lol

She's like those people who watch a movie and, then, when the movie is done ask what it was about.

They act like they are relieved but you know their pissed.

Is that the come back and kick me whistle?

Exactly. The original girls got four seasons and plenty of one-shot specials. The "Teen Mom 2" girls are getting a fifth and final season, and these girls got one crappy season featuring footage that was way too old and not garnering nearly enough viewers. I'd say they have a right to be pissed, but I think the reason why they failed in the first place is because none of them were sympathetic or even all that likable.

I can't think of any of the girls from all the series to be all that likeable. I know Maci had her fans but that's all I can think of. These girls are constantly on social media that anything that has happened in their lives before the show aired was already revealed by themselves. MTV gave up on their series while filming it seems, producers should of picked a better drama filled group of girls.

Oh, yeah. I think the only girl I found genuinely likable was Chelsea, though they all have varying of being jerkasses---some are bigger bitches than others. I think the original girls were great during their first season, before they got their paychecks and starting acting like celebrities just for giving birth. When the first "Teen Mom" began, the concept was somewhat new and different. By the time "Teen Mom 3" rolled around, however, the concept was stale and the girls had become increasingly more unlikable. They just got worse and worse; the same thing happened with "16 and Pregnant" (though the last season of girls weren't crazy, just boring).

OMG, I agree wholeheartedly. I can't, for the life of me, understand why they're working on an all-new season of 16&P when they're wrapping everything up with all of the Teen Mom girls. I say just end it all now and leave it behind. There's nothing else left to show. I'm not broken up about TM3 being canceled, mostly because I didn't feel a real attachment to any of these girls anyway, and definitely not the way I did with the girls from the original season. I may not have liked Amber and Farrah, but at least I cared about what was going on with them and wondered what would happen next. I genuinely don't even care to hear updates on these TM3 girls. They're boring.

I agree too...it's just not even remotely interesting anymore. They have worn it out. We get it. Being pregnant at 16 can suck. We don't need another season of girls to prove that.

My feet have wings, barf bag.

Where I live the first episode of TM3 recently aired and I had trouble staying awake throughout the entire thing.. I'm not suprised the show got cancelled.

My thoughts:

Watching Mackenzie's grunts, I mean, conversations with Ryan 2.0(early TM), I mean Josh, is painful. I would rather watch paint dry, that would be a lot more exciting.

Don't care much for Katie. She comes off as a bit spoiled and whiney eventhough she is working two jobs or something. I wish they had put Jamie from 16 & Pregnant Season 2 in her place rather than Katie. I wish they had put Jamie regardless in the show because I would want to how's she's dealing with that ex-boyfriend of hers and how's she doing.

Alex
a.k.a. the 'Jenelle' of TM3: Meh. Seen that done that before.

Briana:
Her family is SOOO weird and annoying. They seem to be one of those families who are way too much involved with each others lives and are constantly around.

And whenever I see Briana, whether on Teen Mom or in her 16 and Pregnant episode, I can't help but think that this girl feels that she has made a huge mistake by keeping her baby. She mentions this herself that she 'should have gotten an abortion'. Briana looks exhausted and overwhelmed, even with the help of her family.

From MTV's standpoint: I don't think they think Briana is entertaining enough. I mean her discomfort, regret and depression are so clearly visible that it makes the viewer quite uncomfortable. I honestly feel sorry for the girl and I hope everything will work out for her.

Dear Warden. You were right. Salvation lies within.

I enjoyed it. I could not stand the girl in Florida, but I would like to see more of Katie and Joey, Josh and Mackenzie, and whats-her-face with the little girl Arabella.
