how was that an improvement?

I'm not a big fan of ink, but this show is interesting, to me. But I'm watching an episode where they "fix" a tattoo that is in the tramp stamp position but uneven. One side is higher than the other. They "fix" it by making it more complicating looking, but still, one side is higher than the other. It looks no better. What a waste of time, pain, and ink!

I ran across this show last night and I agree. When I saw the "new" tattoo the first thing I said to myself was they just made it a bigger lopsided tattoo.
The few tattoos I have seen so far from this guy don't seem very good.

Who green lights a show like this? Let's see we have two asshats walking around making fun of people's bad tattoos only to cover them up with bigger bad tattoos.

I just saw that episode and I thought the coverup looked like a giant cast iron trivet.

Build a man a fire, he's warm for a day. Light a man on fire & he's warm for the rest of his life!

Yeah, I agree with the 'cast iron trivet' observation. I saw the episode today and was amazed by how much worse it got. He did warn the lady that all bets on symmetry was off because he just couldn't correct it. Then he made it much bigger and blacker, more of an eye sore.

He TOLD her he wouldn't be able to even it out since it was put on crooked to begin with. So he made it sort of swirl around her lower back while keeping the original heart shape in the center. Tattoos aren't my thing but it looked a lot better.

Get me a bromide! And put some gin in it!
