Bad Ink - the title.

I just realized after accidentally watching the latest episodes that bad ink doesn't stand for the ink they are covering, but what they are covering the tattoos with. Dirk has to be the worst tattoo "artist" I've ever seen. The Hawaiian girl and the turtle was just so 80s with bad shading.
