Bad Ink Fake Ink

Gotta call bs on this cover up we saw on that new A&E show Bad Ink. We superimposed the before and after and lined up the moles and you can clearly see where the Jolly Roger would've still been showing. Plus the Jolly Roger looked fake to begin with, like a sloppy movie makeup tattoo or something. I figured that at least the tattoos would be real even though the rest of the entire show is scripted...

Exactly what I thought. They before 'tattoos' look like they were put on, badly, with marker. And the coverups do NOT in any way line up. Tattoo Nightmares is waaaaay better.

I saw the Tony Danza tattoo and it looked fake also. Then the guy being a total douche while he got that terrible dream catcher tattoo or whatever that was that ended up on his leg.

Come on people, it doesn't hurt that bad.

I came here to same the same exact thing! I've caught this show twice now and both times I thought the 'before' tats looked like they were just drawn on with markers.

the 'nina will you marry me' one you could see the shaved leg hair, so they must have just done it.

"You're not dying, you just can't think of anything good to do."

they may have shaved it to draw it on, prior to doing the tattoo so they didn't have to shave in between the marker job and the actual tattoo. I haven't watched the last season, because it's fraudulence gets my blood boiling...

Could you be wrong, or do you have 100% proof that it's fake? Some of all reality shows are probably BS, but I can't see the whole show being fake. If you hate the show so much, then don't watch. I enjoy this show & think that it's mostly legitimate, & hope to see new episodes soon.

Here is my proof that this particular cover up was fake. The skull and cross bones would not have been covered by the humming bird successfully. There is plenty of skin showing around the fresh tattoo that shows no evidence of the original design. I've been a tattoo artist for over twelve years now and I know a fake tattoo when I see one. The Marilyn Monroe tramp-stamp and the Tony Danza calf tattoos were both definitely fake tattoos where the tattooist tattooed over the same area. They don't show any of the process because it would only prove the fraud. A few were legitimate tattoos that they covered up, but regardless it's a stupid show and stupid entertainment and the last few I recorded I forwarded through only to see the before and after. I haven't watched it since I originally posted this.

PS The mermaid documentary was fake too...
