Everyone goes on and on about 'fan service', 'tit & ass', 'epic fights', 'blood', 'rape' or 'deeper underlying meanings'. People love it for these thing, hate it for these things, and forget about those things because its damn incredible, even intelligent.

But the one 'thing' it most definitely is... f@#^*ng hysterical! It is really really funny. When all those 'things' are happening, its in a dark or absurd comedic way. It's obviously making fun of anime, but its also making fun of itself the whole time.

Stand up comics are full of super dark and twisted humor about murder, suicide, sexual abuse, racism, misogyny, anal beads, fecal matter, whatever they can think of that makes people laugh. Most of the time they make fun of themselves. And a lot of times comedians materiel has a lot of deeper messages about politics, religion, family, sexuality, self identity, you name it.

That is what Kill La Kill is. A ridiculously insane and absurd action comedy, with a lot of social, political and other deeper ideas, buried within an incredibly stimulating sensory entertainment experience. COMEDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
