I enjoy the show, but...

The pauses between scenes, man. We'll get a still scene where pretty much nothing is going on, and it holds there for 30 seconds. I'm sure this is to instill the ideal of how "nothing is going on" the rural countryside of Japan (or any other nation, really) can be, but it feels really unnecessary and can be a bit annoying too.
