So what is the name of this movie now? 'Salome' and 'Wilde Salome.'

Has the film's title simply been changed, is this a new edit or is this a different film based only on the earlier films production of the play (minus the documentary on Wilde and Pacino, in other words)? I'm not sure if anyone would be able to answer this but are we still looking at an October 16, 2013 release date here in the states.

Yes, I think you answered your own question. I believe that, after the recent recognition that Chastain has been having, along with early reviews of her being brilliant in Wild Salome, Pacino decided to build on that and release the product without his documentary attached.

It's apparently 2 different films now - Salome is the film of the production, and Wilde Salome, the accompanying documentary film of it.

I believe release date is closer to December.
