The nudity ?

I saw jessica chastain on letterman and she talked about how she was nude in this movie can anyone explain what is expected to be shown ?

reply

If you know the story then you'll know about The Dance of the Seven Veils (though there is only one in this film). So, yes, she shows a bit of flesh, but it's completely appropriate to the story and it's not cheap and nasty but very beautifully done.

But what is the dance suppose to be about ? And what is she suppose to show ?

reply

What a prurient fellow you are!

This may tide you over for the time being (courtesy of an audience review - not me):
"Just saw Salome and Wilde Salome. Identical version of key striptease scene in both. Scene about 3 mins long and VERY hot, with lots of writhing, belly dancing, etc. She goes topless for the final half of it. No lower half nudity."

I think what he is asking but is trying to be coy about is if he can yank his baby arm to her scenes in the movie. Grow up.

As a fellow pervert I cannot stress enough how important it is to learn how to Google these things you seek...

The nudity in this is so tame, I don't know why people make a big deal about it. You see very little, the dance is edited choppy and with a reddish filter that semi-obscures things even more. There's a lingering shot (4-5 seconds maybe), of Jessica on the floor with her top off. But so what?
