Review of 3D.

Hi. Big 3D fan here. I recently returned from theater. I regret to inform you that the 3D was mediocre.

Depth was ok but only in some scenes. The flight via balloon and in-the-car scenes had good 3D depth. But the open wide scenes had little depth to enjoy. Since the wide open scenes were dominant in this movie the overall enjoymentsuffered greatly. 2,5/5.

The before the window scenes were also "meh". There was some good before the screen moments but they were few and far between. There is only one scene about elephants which you have to watch 3D to understand. Even that was too short in duration of the scene. 2/5.

You don't need to watch this movie in 3D to understand it. Also the extra bang from 3D is so small that it won't worth the extra ticket price and discomfort of wearing glasses.

If you are a 3D enthusiast like me you should go for 3D. If you are not die-hard about 3D just skip it. Or skip the movie entirely. It is decidedly mediocre anyway. 3D = 2,5/5 Movie = 2/5
