Did anyone else laugh at the cheaply-made finale of Renaissance Man?

The announcer has this build-up of how it's the finale of this top-rating show - yet there's no shot of the audience. Or the contestants. Just the host standing against a blue curtain.

I knew this movie was made on a budget, but that was ridiculous. At least get some stock footage of an audience cheering.
