Is hanging on to the good looking crew. C'mon, condescending and useless. Good thing it is a TV show, if he ever talked to me like that he could take my money and sue me because he would need it after what I did to him. What a friggin liar, fake and wannabe man
Moviebandit, I couldn't agree more with you if I tried!! You summed it up perfectly!! There's a HUGE difference between 'funny' and RUDE. This A-Hole IS RUDE! He's pathetic as he really thinks he's 'funny'(??). Awe, COME ON! PA-LEEZE. His blatant RUDENESS is a complete give-away of just HOW ignorant he really is. (Ignorant as in 'LACK OFF EDUCATION).
While he does in fact suffer from a lack of traditional education, he is actually a very intelligent man.
He is also a comedian, and while he does have extensive knowledge of contracting, his primary purpose on the show is to crack-wise and make jokes.
You might not find him funny, but many others do (as evidence by his many stints on radio, tv and his #1 most downloaded podcast). He is making jokes, and as it is a show about catching despicable lowlifes who STEAL thousands from unsuspecting homeowners, yah, his jokes are going to involve making fun of them.
He got busted because homeowners contacted the state licensing board - not because he appeared on the show. By the way, have you noticed that he got paid appearance fee for being on the show?
The fact that majority of these homeowners have nails and other potentially dangerous stuff laying around in the house for months after contractor left pretty much tells you that the show is staged. If I had a contractor who left things like that in the house - I would at least clean up potentially dangerous stuff - I wouldn't leave it laying around in the house while still living in the house.
This season has seemed like he is *really* trying hard to squeeze out the funny. Unlike other replies, I don't think he's trying to be rude with his comments, it just comes out that way because it's unfunny. I also mean the comments he makes toward Skip, the producers, or the homeowners. The contractors that leave some of these aftermaths behind can go fck themselves. Rude boorish and stupid comments are encouraged, just make it funny... Adam.
As I said at the start of season 1, it's no wonder he isn't pursuing actual stand-up gigs anymore. I think he's kinda fizzled out... he's done. His latest movie was, in my view, a sort of 'goodbye' to hollywood. As soon as this show is toast, he will pursue woodworking somewhere small like "Jake" from 16 Candles.
_____________ Move along! There's nothing to see here
You do realize he has a daily podcast, and has a podcast empire. He does do lots of stand-up and live podcasts. He is pretty much constantly working. He made a documentary that is really good as well.
