Probably just speculation, but with Cisco gone, the show has no chance.

The season 7 finale was bad. Maybe they are trying to kill it.

The finale could not have been a bigger pile of steaming dung if it’d dropped out of a horse’s rump. The show is well past its sell-by date.

And who thought having Flash, Jr., try to sing was a good idea?

I'm a lifelong DC fan. I really tried with the CW DC shows, but they're dreadful. I admire their world-building/shared universe, and I enjoyed some of the crossovers, but that's it.

No. Stargirl is terrific, so good that it should leave the CW and go to streaming. Superman and Lois is also very strong, teen angst notwithstanding. These 2 shows are head-shoulders-and-bellybutton above the Greg Berlanti crap.

Nine months ago I hadn't seen Superman and Lois. Now I've watched a few, I like Hoechlin but it didn't make me want to stick with it. Haven't seen Stargirl.

Stargirl and Superman are the only reasons i bother with The CW.I still watch the Flash from time to time but it went down hill.

Now that Stargirl is gone, I suspect Superman won't be long now. Apparently the new owners of CW are purging the DC properties.

Gustin is reportedly getting over $200K per ep for Season 9. Unless The CW is strapped for cash, I’d think they’d like to maximize their ROI by doing a regular season.
