Great Rom-com (Spoilers)

I'm not usually a rom-com fan but I loved this one! It didn't follow the typical formula of the lead actress trying to change herself to fit in with the nasty in-laws and then the rote lesson at the end about being yourself. Instead, she stayed true to herself throughout which I really liked.

The other great thing about this movie was Singapore! It was like a 2-hour-long tourist advert, in the best way. They showcased the food, the architecture, the beautiful scenery. Singapore has now jumped to the top of the list of countries I want to visit, all thanks to this movie.

Loved it! Awkwafina was hilarious. I felt the ending was a bit rushed, but overall, it was a great movie.

I agree; it was a good rom-com more than a laugh out loud funny film as it was advertised.

I enjoyed it, but I think people looking for a huge comedy hit may be disappointed.
