Not that bad

It is not great but it is better than I expected. Not sure what the budget was but it does not look cheap. Better than 90% of the crappy movies on netflix and way better than anything put out on syfy

The description sounded like a joke, so I started watching with low expectations. To my surprise it turned out to be a really well shot and acted (comparatively of course!) film. The characters were interesting and believable from the corporate *beep* talking bitch, really well written character, to the small town sheriff. The location was stunning and added a lot to the atmosphere of the film. And they spoke real Russian at the Oil town bar))

Agreed, it was a decent movie. The current really low IMDB rating is undeserved.

Suprisingly VERY Entertaining..Had a blast with this one compared to most of netflix's crap.

My feelings exactly. It looks good, there's no terribly bad acting, it's action packed, and the story was somewhat compelling. The terrible comments on this board are from people that accidentally rented this at blockbuster or whatever and had unrealistic expectations. For people that see bad movies all the time, this one was actually pretty decent. I give it a solid 5, maybe 5.5.

I agree. The first half hour is better than the rest, but the finished product is not unwatchable. For a B-movie, it's not that bad.

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾

Wasn't really impressed with it at all.
I gave it a rating of 4.
This is something that should have been restricted as a rerun on syfy.
The story and acting is far from original and it's give me a sense of deja vu.
Like I've already seen and heard the same thing before over and over somewhere
else.

So you got a big oil company
looking for profits, and a dedicated scientist whose more interested in his
research project than in making mega dollars?
And at some point they both come in conflict?
What's so novel about this plot?

And those 3 genetically modified soviet soldiers are going to somehow be a
threat to the rest of the world?
Those guys might be strong and tougher than the average Joe but they aren't
exactly like Arnie Schwarzenegger's Terminator.
I think a a couple of M-16s and a few hand grenades could have finished them
off in no time.
They weren't too convincing as a threat.

Didn't think is was bad except for all the scenes with the Russian super-soldiers. (and the Sergeant whose first words were always "You heard him men")
