I missed a few parts of the movie - what happened to (SPOILER INSIDE)

the uncle Cameron- how did he die? What and how did Adam do to the uncle that killed him? Thanks for any info just missed it because of interruptions by the telephone, neighbors knocking at my door - please help and thanks!!!

reply

Adam brought the mom breakfast and she wasn't hungry. Then Cameron came over and ate it. Then he was sick with what he thought was the flu.

Thank you so much -- I kind of figured it was something like that I appreciate your fast response. Its sad because he was such a nice uncle who cared for his sister-n-law and niece so much and loved them both so much.

And if you remember at the beginning Ariel drank the coffee meant for the mom and she complained of not feeling well. I guess it killed the uncle because he already had a weak heart.

reply

I don't really get the motive though. he just wanted to kill her for no reason? I mean, what was his goal exactly? If he wanted to get closer to her, or marry her or whatever, why kill her with the first breakfast???

It weakens us to not give our enemies the respect they deserve...

I don't think he wanted to kill her. He wanted her to be sick so that he could take care of her.
I thinks they mentioned the name of the illness he actually has him self. Where you make someone else sick to either take care of them and/or for the attention it gets you. I cant remember the name though.

It was mentioned when the daughter and her boyfriend were looking up news articles on earlier wives.

The Mom is an idiot. This strange man starts coming over and staying over and everytime she sees him she gets sick or worse. And he keeps trying to shove his special tea down her throat? She is a moron. I mean, if I passed out in public and I wasn't drinking but the only new thing was being in the presence of some pushy guy I maybe wouldn't jump to the conclusion he's poisoning me but the second time? I'd totally be on guard when he's always telling me to drink his damn tea.
