apparently there is a scene in it that features a five minute close-up of Casanova’s face as he sits on the toilet, constipated, trying to defecate. http://scenecreek.com/tiff/tiff-2013-awards/ ..interesting... lol

Yes, that scene's in there, but it's not 5 minutes…2 minutes only.

It's quite funny, not your Merchant-Ivory costume drama.

But be warned: It's an art film, more like a gallery installation than a narrative film.

Visually it's stunning & the lead actor is great.
