Very good

Many people know that Franz Ferdinand's assassination was the trigger for war, but not really why. This drama showed, in an engaging way, how & why things escalated through July and August 1914.

Fine script, well cast and good performances. I thought Sir Edward Grey, Bethman-Hollweg, General Moltke, David Lloyd George and Kaiser Wilhelm were particularly well played.

Did Alec McCardle remind any body else of a young Sean Connery?
