Not accurate, No surprise (SPOILER)

There is no evidence he cannibalized his victims.

Also, a "real ghoul" if there were such creatures, were deranged people or again creatures who dug up dead bodies (already dead) and ate the rotting flesh. They did not kill anyone, so therefore were not cannibals in the strictest sense. Much like zombies have become nothing like traditional Voodoo zombies, this depiction of a ghoul is completely wrong.

Other than that there were some good moments to the movie! Biggest flaw was the craptastic camera work (hand held job).
