Caroline asks him to find the killer (SPOILER)

and she is the killer?

huh?

reply

The general idea in the book at least is that Caroline wanted someone to know that she killed him. I guess to give her a release before starting the next part of her life marrying Charlie. She essentially wanted to draw a line under her past.

reply

Either way you look at it.... it is absurd. Because that "reveal" would ensure she eventually goes to jail and never gets to marry Charlie.

Although the ending it seemed that Caroline was going to carry on living without looking over her shoulder.

Porter wasn't telling the Billionaire didn't care and the police his father and the family friend were calling his death an accident/unsolved.

What was Caroline suppose to do? She seen her step father's face on her twisted and peaked husband. That's why she wound up in such an awful circumstance as that and ended up gutting his foolish azz.

Caroline said "Give me Freedom" LOL

reply

Why is everybody assuming that she would be found guilty if/when the truth comes out?

I mean if her killing her husband was not self-defense, I don't know what is.

reply

I figured it was just a way to draw Porter in, so he would find out who was sending out that video of her and Hobbs. I don't think she knew he'd find out about how Simon died. She didn't, as far as I know, know the death had been filmed.
