Almost like an old DCom

as a 24 year old, many would be surprised that I awaited this release with baited breath, but it certainly didn't disappoint. i grew up with Disney Channel Original Movies, Zoog Disney, and DComs.

This movie had intellect, humor, light-heartedness, a good message, and was a throw-back to the movies I grew up with, but with a futuristic twist.

Any other adults on here agree???

I loved it. I thought it was sweet and had a great message about friendship.

I was kinda disappointed she didn't dance with Jaden in the end but I like the twist of him not needing a tutor.

Albert was extremely likable as well.

I'm 25 and felt exactly the same way! I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed it. I didn't really think about it till I read your post but I think you hit the nail on the head - this really is like an old DCOM. :)

Btw- since this had to do with government, the entire movie I kept singing the main song from "My Date With the President's Daughter." Hahaha. Anyone remember that one?? :)

And Tvaddict88 I now can not get that song out of my head.

"My date with her!"

This definetly felt like a throwback to the classic Dcoms. I'm 24 and I enjoyed it. I'm glad some other people saw the similarities.
