Stomping To And Fro

If I see the female lead stomp across the Moor once more I'll squeem and squeem and squeem.

Amazing tip for you, turn the tv over, you didn't like it we get it, but repeating yourself is boring

She does a lot less stomping in the second episode, which I must say is much more engrossing than the first. Much quicker pace, a lot more happens. And when she walks across the moor, she is doing it for a good reason this time. She is actually going somewhere.

And also, those moors were boggy and full of high grasses. You can't stroll across them, but have to really plant your feet one at a time. It makes walking a bit more stompy.

But overall, Episode 2 is a big improvement. Episode 1 was good; this one is better.

But yes, there was one scene where Joss was literally incoherent. He was drunk, but I still should be able to understand him!

I haven't seen ep2, yet, so I'm looking forward to the improvement, but I happen to agree with the op's criticism about stomping. It's not JBF's fault, though; the writer dropped the ball on that one.

I didn't mind the stomping. I was too busy being perplexed as to why her character kept storming off in a huff to walk the moors to no apparent purpose whatsoever, except perhaps to give the writers an excuse to have her run into Jem, which she inexplicably did quite often. I thought the girl grew up on a farm. Lord knows that dreary Inn could have used a vegetable garden. All they ever seemed to consume was 3 day old bread, brandy and ale. How she ever had the time to wander the moors with all that nasty muddy laundry to do is also a mystery.
