Did Mary's hair drive anyone else crazy? I really wanted to give her a hair binger! Aunt Patience's hair was not much better!

She may have moved into a tavern but that did not (in the book, which I realize is an unrealistically high standard) stop her trying to look and behave like a well-brought-up girl, who would assuredly not be seen in public with her hair hanging in her face.
